The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling. During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home. iRobot Roomba s9+ The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience. The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home gets a proper look. This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with future models. The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models. iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price. Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require more attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than a vibrating pad. The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level. For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves on. What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin. You can also create and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some items that need to be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects. The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7. This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route. The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners need. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children. The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
